The electronic pop textures are surged with extra-metrical beat syllables and R&B undertones that spawn a vitalizing multi-layered production. Maya’s soprano vibratos hover flawlessly around the synthesized drum timbres, creating an atmospheric jam of soft-spoken vocals and energizing vibes.
Check out a special note from the singer and partake in the exuberant sounds below:
I’m pretty bad with liking new music, except if it sounds like it’s from the 80s and around this era, I already did a cover of Ready for the World’s song “Oh Sheila,” which is part of my live sets, so again I felt it was natural to go back to this era. The song is a beautiful 80s love song, and it’s a track that I felt was sorta dangerous to touch, but at the same time, I wanted to pay homage to it because it’s such a good song and it deserves some attention. So hope I did it some justice.Morganne Nikole
