Los Angeles singer-songwriter Marz Leon debuts her
first single, “L O N E R,” a mid-tempo cut entrenched with vivacious
lyrical trembles and syncopated electronic reverbs. The singer also
contributed co-production on the track alongside Mike Dez. Although Marz
is fresh on the music scene, the songstress radiates a poised sound to
accompany her eccentric artistic style. The atmospheric auras embedded
within the track creates a sensual brew of delicacy and boldness
before cross-fading into a slow-tempo soundscape with screwed
intonations.
With a forthcoming EP in the works, Marz tells Pigeons and Planes
that her EP is intended to connect people to the rawness of life
instead of what people fabricate it to be. “My EP is based on real life
emotions and situations that I have been through over the years,” she
says.
