Singer-songwriter Jarell Perry has linked with producer HSVN for “Taboo,” a delicate rendition of Sade 1985 single, “The Sweetest Taboo.” Dabbling in legendary music can yield a bit of hesitation, but the Los Angeles artist manages to revolutionize timeless soul music into tender arrangements. Vaporized with bass synths, he successfully designs a slow-tempo love composition ingrained with astral inflections. “Taboo,” is a stand-alone release, but stream Jarell’s previous White EP available on SoundCloud.
