English Rapper Little Simz Releases Official Video for "Mandarian Oranges Part 2"

English musician Little Simz proves that age and gender are not determinants of talent. Beginning her musical quest at the young age of nine, the now 20-year-old femcee has ventured her way into the limelight. After the release of her fourth mixtape Blank Canvas, Little Simz name has popped up amongst the blopsphere as she executed the connections between paintings and life. She has appeared as one of the first unsigned rappers to do a live BBC Radio 1 Maida Vale session with Huw Stephens, where she premiered “Mandarin Oranges Part 2,” an experimental trap-rap blend featured on her forthcoming EP. Little Simz has officially released the black-and white visual for the teased track, directed by Duy Nguyen. She displays her spectacular vernacular through raw lyricism and conceptualized imagery in the streets of L.A. and Venice Beach. Following the original soundbed by Sango, producer El Nino Blanco transformed the wavy frequencies into slowed, yet pulsating baselines. Little Simz’ lucidly exposes listeners to her world of life, growth, and lyricism with a demeanor that demands attention. Simz’ debut EP is set for release this spring and features production from the likes of Sango, Jakwob, High Frequency, OTG along with various surprises, which are soon to be revealed.
