After releasing “Last Stand” and “Something Right” with frequent collaborator SOHN, London crooner Kwabs
returns with the visual for his recent Plan B-produced melody, “Pray
for Love.” The emotive British/Ghanian talent continues to mesmerize
eardrums with his awe-inspiring harmonies, but this time, he supplements
his soul induced sounds with abstract cinematics. The Emil
Nava-directed visuals begin with sensible pictorials that capture the
connection between brother and sister in their home.
Abstract stillness
and slow motion aesthetics coincide gracefully with Kwabs majestic
vocals, creating raw emotional imagery. The interchanging scenes display
the siblings innocently interacting with one another before the home
becomes infiltrated behind a dense haziness. Although the visuals covert
into a camouflaged fog, Kwabs musical genius is one that could never be
masked.
Scope the visuals below and be on the lookout for Kwabs anticipated Pray for Love EP, set to drop May 20.
