In anticipation of his new album, Tom Krell bka How To Dress Well, reveals the second part of his poignant trilogy series with new track, “Face Again.” The previous video for “Repeat Pleasure”
depicted the love connection between a hospice nurse and her patient’s
grandson. Part two continues to chronicle the quest between the couple,
depicting images of death, pain, and unconventional funeral tactics. Tom
Krell deviates from the store clerk doctor role from “Repeat Pleasure”
and becomes a “benevolent shaman,” as stated on his twitter. Both
installments were directed by Johannes Greve Muskat and posed around the
question of how to live and die right.
“Two young people who are troubled by the question- one because his
father is dying and the other who is a young hospice caregiver- decide
to take an extreme risk on an authentic way of life. The remainder of
the trilogy tracks the consequences of this effort,” Tom Krell tells Dazed and Confused.
The visuals are accompanied by the crooners hollowed drums and spectral vocals. Stream HTDW’s pre-album mixtape and prepare for the official release of What is This Heart? release, set to unveil June 24. Watch the visual above.
